[EN] Alive and kicking since 2009 with members of Guerilla Poubelle, Dead Pop Club, Crossing The Rubicon and Marxmallows, Maladroit has released an album « Jerk Alert ! » (Guerilla Asso/Monster Zero/Slow Death) and several 7″ and split 7″ (Sainte Catherines, Charly Fiasco, Teenage Bubblegums) of urgent and spontaneous pop punk tracks inspired by the likes of Teenage Bottlerocket, Dear Landlord, Nerf Herder and Screeching Weasel. The song structures are simple, the choruses incredibly catchy and the guitar solos, played with one finger, almost annoying. What does Maladroit sing about ? Simple and fun stuff (in english and in french), real life, loser experiences and uneasiness.
This includes songs about life on the road, girls, frustration… Always honest and moving, Maladroit writes girl music for boys. Unless it’s the other way around!
With almost 200 shows, Maladroit played at The Fest in Gainesville, The Pouzza in Montreal, The Monster Zero Mash in Innsbruck Austria and shared the stage with Dear Landord, Murderburgers, Off With Their Heads, Dead To Me, The Apers, Priceduifkes, Sainte Catherines, Against Me!, Masked Intruder, Brixton Robbers, Charky Fiasco, Fortune Cookie Club and much more.
